There are two kinds of people in the world,
Givers and takers.
Takers will eat better
but the givers will sleep better!
(Read this week – author not known)
An American -Russian writer Vera Nazarian once quoted :
“Whenever you read a good book,
somewhere in the world
a door opens to allow more light”
Two other quotes which I liked:
Start at the young age… let the imagination run wild. (credit: Facebook)
What are you currently reading ?
( I am reading ” The little Coffee Shop of Kabul” by Deborah Rodriguez)
“We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails”
-Bertha Calloway ( b1925) –

“To know tomato is a fruit is knowledge
bu not to use in a fruit-salad is wisdom”
There are only a handful of men & women on this earth who became the Masters of the situation and sacrificed their whole lives for the good will of fellow human beings.
Martin Luther King (Jr) from The United states of America, Mahatma Gandhi of India, 14th Dalai Lama in Exile , Mother Theresa of India , Aung San Suu kyi of Burma , Pakistani school girl Malala Yousafzai and Nelson Mandela (Madeba) are few of them.
While I type, the nonagenarian Nelson Mandela of South Africa is fighting for his life in a hospital.
I would like to share some of Nelson Mandela’s quotes below.
“Education is the most powerful weapon
which you can use to change the World”
“After climbing a great hill, one only finds that
there are many more hills to climb.”
“If you want to make peace with your enemy,
you have to work with your enemy. Then he
becomes your partner.”
“A good head and a good heart are
always a formidable combination”
