Polish Man vs Polish Remover

An electronic mail joke came my way…….

A Polish man moved to the USA and married an American girl.

Although his English was far from perfect, they got along very well until one day…….

He rushed into a lawyer’s office and asked him if he could arrange a divorce for him.

The lawyer said that getting a divorce could depend on the circumstances, and asked him the following questions:

“Have you any grounds”?
“Yes, an acre and half and nice little home”.

“No, I meant what is the foundation of this case”?
“It’s made of concrete”

“I don’t think you understand. Does either of you have a real grudge”?
“No, we have car port, and not need one”.

“I mean, what are your relations like?”
“All my relations still in Poland”.

“Is there any infidelity in your marriage”?
“We have hi-fidelity stereo and good DVD player”.

“Does your wife beat you up”?
“No, I always up before her”.

“Is your wife a nagger”?
“No, she white”.

“Why do you want this divorce”?
“She going to kill me”.

“What makes you think that”?
“I got proof”.

“What kind of proof”?
“She going to poison me.

She buy a bottle at drugstore and put on shelf in bathroom.
I can read, and it say: “Polish Remover”

Energy and Matter concept in formation of letters

The concept of Energy and matter is not new to us and does not start with Einstein’s days of E=mc2. Let us look at how our letters are formed from Aksharas then people would know that the concept of Energy and Matter is old as our language. In Tamil there are two kinds of Aksharas/Letters. They are உயிர் எழுத்து – Uyir Ezhuthu (Life / Energy letters – 12 letters) and ெமய் எழுத்து – Mei Ezhuthu (Body / Matter letters – 18 letters). Both put together it is 30 letter pack for Tamil as alphabets. Now both have to combine to give letters called “body with life” which are called uyir mei Ezhuthu. This combines to form 18*12 which is 216 letters as Uyir Mei Ezhuthu. For example க்+ அ = க in Tamil and क़ + अ = क in Sanskrit.

Live-crab vending Machines in China

Live-crab vending Machines in China

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The live crab vending machines are the newest marketing ploy in China. The self-service machine has appeared at the capital of the Zhejiang province. China’s crab season runs during August to October and the seafood loving nation has been enticed with the new innovation.

5-10 degrees Temperature controlled machine keeps the crabs in a “sleepy state” and top it up the crabs come with appropriate side dishes such as crab vinegar and ginger tea!

The packaging itself is somewhat innovative which gives a pseudo cave effect for the ten-legged crustacean. The natural escape mechanism (self amputating its limbs to escape from the predator)  is also compromised by providing a cave. The edible container (wonder what it is made of?) could be dropped in boiling water without damaging once finger to the powerful claws of the crab. The crabs were priced at 20 Chinese Yuan (just under 3 American dollars).

The original self-service machine appeared for the first time in Nanjing Subway station few years ago but did not entice the crustacean lover as expected. One of the reasons given for the failure was that the bystanders were ogled by the innovation than actually purchasing the product thus created a loss for the owner at the end of the day.

The live crab vending machines were serving farmed crabs even though the provinces are coastal to East China Sea.

The trend may be taken up globally if the vendors were successful on their scheme!

What does the fox say? – Ylvis the new Gangnam style

A Norwegian band Ylvis  posted their music video titled “THE FOX”  on  You-tube on the 3rd of September. The official music video went viral and has been viewed by  many millions  within a week. The foxy  song  by the Ylvisaker brothers Bard and Vegard from Bergen has reached 22.6 million viewers and growing  just ten days after the launch. In other words the whole of  Australia has watched this video in a week!

The song has captured the imagination of a grand father telling a tale to his grandson . The melody  would attract the young audience particularly the primary school children.

It is the new Gangnam style  song catapulting the Ylvis brothers to international fame. I am sure it will be echoing around the world for the days to come.

Enjoy the video as I did.

By the way  Does the fox howl? Beatrix Potter may have an answer.
